Experimentation...

To see whether my ideas would work i decided it would be best to try it out so i booked the studio and had a little play with the whole projection idea.

Luckily, John had an OHP projector so i used that with my models writing on acetate sheets with a sharpie, these were the results...

I think the images have turned out really well, the one thing i need to change for my next shoot is to make sure my models are wearing white. It shows the projection a lot more and makes the images stand out more. I will continue to experiment with another shoot in the studio.
